Wedding, Receptions, Civil Ceremonies & Partnerships

Our 11 acre gardens were originally designed as a Victorian Pleasure Garden by the General Augustus Pitt Rivers in c.1880. Civil Ceremonies can be held inside the Victorian Pavilion and The General’s Room, or outside with the Roman Temple and the Lower Indian Room. The choice of your marriage room is wholly personal and will depend on your guest numbers, but be assured we have total flexibility whatever the weather! Each wedding has the full services of our wedding co-ordinators who will ensure the smooth and relaxed running of your day.
